# compress_* MergeTree テーブル設定

マークは圧縮をサポートしており、マークファイルのサイズを削減し、ネットワーク
経由の転送を高速化します。

compact パーツの物理レイアウトを制御します。true (デフォルト) の場合、各 granule で各カラムが
新しい圧縮ブロックから始まるため、ClickHouse は不要なカラムを
ディスクから読み込まずにスキップできます。false の場合、granule 内のすべてのカラムが同じ圧縮ブロックにまとめられるため、
圧縮率は向上しますが、読み取り時により多くのデータを伸長する必要があります。
これは、常にすべてのカラムを読み取るワークロード (例: プロジェクション) に適しています。
